Samruddhi Mahamarg: Revised toll, project status, route map

The 701-km Mumbai Nagpur Expressway, which is officially known as the Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg, is a six-lane expressway with two additional service roads connecting Mumbai and Nagpur. This expressway will reduce travel time from 15 to 8 hours between Mumbai and Nagpur. Developed by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), the Greenfield project will pass through the mountainous terrain of the Western Ghats, cutting through 10 districts and 390 villages of Maharashtra.
